The interior stairs between the floors were sealed off and repaired (but this could be opened back up easily). There are quotes for a full rebuild OR total removal of electrical (in the first floor); one could keep electricity down there and use the space as golf cart parking OR put in a breeze-through tiki bar, using the existing plumbing for an interior bathroom (the first floor had one full and one half bath).
